Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I am a Professor of English specializing in technical communication at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. I research narrative, digital badges, ethics, technical communication, and game-based learning. From 2011 until October of 2016, I directed the Texts and Technology Doctoral Program in the College of Arts and Humanities.
Since October of 2016 I have been serving as director of the School of Visual Arts and Design.

Every spring semester, I teach an an honors course on game design.
